Tripstr is looking for a Swift developer to help us accelerate development of our exciting iPhone app launching this Fall. The iPhone app is the core experience of Tripstr and we've invested significant resources in its development. Now that we've validated the concept with our beta users, we're looking to finish the remaining screens and polish the app for release. Follow a well-defined development guide that includes UI testing, Tripstr coding style, following a state-driven design pattern and utilizing functional programming where possible. The best candidates will be familiar with Reactive Cocoa (which we utilize) and the new React platform by Facebook (which we emulate). We expect candidates to be comfortable with git and submitting PRs via Github. Communication is essential for our remote workers, and candidates will be online and available via Slack + Google Hangouts during their working hours.

 

• Proficiency with Swift
• Understanding of state-driven UI programming (ideally experienced with React, React-native or counterparts)
• Understanding of functional reactive programming (ideally experienced with ReactiveCocoa, Bond or counterparts)
• Ability to communicate problems/roadblocks effectively
