Tripstr is looking for a backend web developer to help us finalize the API of our iPhone app. The Tripstr iPhone app is the core experience of our product, so speed and reliability of our API is incredibly inmportant. Activities will include test-driven development of new API endpoints, setting up performance monitoring and other analytics tools, discovery of performance bottlenecks and implementation of solutions to remove those bottlenecks. All code with be reviewed with github PRs, and tasks tracked in Pivotal.

 

• Experience with large-scale API development
• Proficiency with Django / Django Rest Framework
• Experience with test-driven development
• Systems experience (Vagrant, Ansible, etc) is a plus
• Ability to communicate problems/roadblocks effectively
